Each search is priced at 5 Euros, so the cost of finding either of these people could soon mount up. You really need to get some approximate idea of their dates of birth to help narrow down the records you look at.

You also need to narrow down their location in Ireland. What you are after, ideally, is a townland ie place of origin. This website has helpful (free) advice about how to do this:

There are no census records for Ireland (except for a few fragments) prior to the 1901 census. A census substitute is Griffiths Valuation which was carried out in Derry in 1858-59, and probably too late to be of help to you, but can be searched (for free) at:

Well i have painter 11 and its an ablolutly amazing program. Im not sure about sketchpad though. I would go with painter sketchpad due to the fact that autodesk isnt focused on developing programs for digital art but more for cad and 3d. I bought 3ds max 2010 and autocad 2010 and there excelent programs but there sketch pad isnt near as good as painter.

You can save the page out from Sketch Pad as a jpg or PNG then upload it to DeviantArt.

You can save a page with the ‘export page’ button (Third on in the top bar)

Definitely one of the sketch apps. Sketch Pad will sync with Painter. My experience with Elements has been good. The newer versions are huge and open more slowly than previous versions but, once opened, they work really well. I’m inclined to recommend you get Elements 7 for a couple of reasons. PS 6 is a very old program that’s no longer supported by Adobe. If you want to download and use any of the newer brushes, plugins or actions developed for Elements or Photoshop, you’ll need the newer program (the program’s coding changed with PS7 and PS CS). Elements 7 has also made it easy to install actions – for a change;-) It has a lot more functionality than previous Elements versions. And both Photoshop and Elements have introduced Smart Objects and Smart Brushes that the older versions lacked. You don’t have to uninstall PS6 when you install Elements so, if you need to, you can always go back to it to do things that Elements might not do – like vector graphics.

Wacom tablets are good products. I have used them for many years with PhotoShop.

I have no experience with Corel Painter, no doubt it will do all it says it does, but the examples they show are being done by professionals with lots of experience that get paid lots of money to create the images just to show off all the bling.

This is probably a virus with a rootkit on your computer hiding the virus from your anti-virus program. Here’s some suggestions. Since your computer may be severely infected, you should take some extra safety measures.

1. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode with Networking by pressing F8 while your computer is loading, and then selecting Safe Mode with Networking when prompted.

2. Once loaded, go to http://www.malwarebytes.org and install the free version of malwarebytes.

3. Once installed, update the program to the latest database.

4. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode, by pressing F8 while it is loading, and selecting Safe Mode when prompted.

5. Once loaded, open Malwarebytes, and run a quick scan. Quarantine any threats it finds.

6. Run a full scan and quarantine any threats it finds.

7. Reboot your computer into it’s regular mode. You do not need to press F8.

8. Repeat steps 5 and 6.

ArtRage is quite good, from experience, and it offers a free trial if you want to see what the product is like. Unlike Painter, however, it doesn’t provide a more digital painting experience, but rather tries to recreate physical, traditional mediums in a digital form. It provides a simple, ergonomically designed layout, and includes features such as Glitter and Stencils as well as Pencil and Oil Paints.

I would recommend it for your daughter, as I have used it and found it to be quite good, though Photoshop and painter are my programs of choice. The program varies from between $20 to $80 depending on what features you want to include (if you want to upgrade from the free starter edition), but overall that is much cheaper than most other, more popular programs.

Your terminology is making your question confusing. What do you mean by SHARE? If you literally mean to post many hi res photos to share for other people to see and print, you are going to have to use a paid account at what is called a photo / client hosting site. These sites allow you to upload hi res photos, then any potential clients / friends can view the photos and order large prints through the site. The photos are still not going to be hi res on the computer, which you should not want anyway. You cannot view a hi res photo on a computer screen without scrolling all over the screen and only being able to see parts of the photo.

Now if you are meaning you just want to be able to SEND a hi res photo to someone, then there are plenty of FTP sites you can use for this. Many email services will not allow large attachments, and that is simply a slow, poor way to send large photos. Using a site such as You Send It allows you to upload large files to the site, then the site sends an email to your client. The client then opens the attachment in the email which redirects to You Send It to retrieve the file and download it onto their computer. MUCH better than trying to tie up email with large files.

AdBlock has nothing to do with the way your .jpgs are opened. It depends on which browser youre using. If you use Firefox, youre in luck. Go to Tools – Options or Preferences, and go to content. There should be an option to change what your browser does with every type of file extension.

If you use Internet Explorer, youre out of luck. If you right click on the image it gives you all the options you have of opening the image. If its not there, then IE wont be able to do it.

Facebook will not store the files in high resolution. Flickr will allow batch upload and individual download, but would require a Pro account for that many high res images. Anything involving email is too slow and runs the risk of files getting dumped for exceeding capacity.

If you have FTP access to a server, that is the way to do it. Most pros have high capacity/high band width storage servers, or at least a Web server, that is used for FTP transfer to clients. You could probably rent a server short term for a reasonable price, $7 per month 150G unlimited bandwidth at Go Daddy. Search Google, maybe there are some free ones.

The exact same thing happened to me except I was uploading a video at the time I was using one of those mobile broadband sticks and when I went back to the WiFi in my house and it uploaded fine so if you’re using a slow connection that can really affect how long it takes to upload photos and videos

You don’t have do “do” anything but save the file, you can only save a file at whatever resolution it is, there is no choice to download them at different resolutions. She has to send the full res file in the attachment. She sent you low res files, probably because most of the time, email attachments are limited to no more than 10mb files. Maybe she re-sized them so that she could send them all within her email clients attachment quota, or maybe she has her camera set to capture images at a lower res, I don’t know and can’t suggest a solution without first knowing under which circumstances the images were created originally. What I can do is recommend you advise her to upload her images to picasaweb, set her permissions to allow download, and for you to retrieve the images from her picasaweb page instead of her emailing them to you. I gave picasaweb as an example, because I use it to allow folks in my family to easily download images I take of them, but you could use flickr to do this as well. I don’t use my flickr for that purpose.
